These terms govern your use of CookieCodeJar at www.cookiecodejar.com ("the site"). By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.
Who runs CookieCodeJar
CookieCodeJar is an independent membership vault for Episode Interactive authors, run by its creator under the pseudonym Elzbiet Zaleski ("I", "me", "the creator"). That name is a public pen name, not a legal identity on this page. CookieCodeJar is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Episode Interactive or Pocket Gems.
Accounts
- You need a verified email address to sign in and unlock paid assets.
- One person, one account. Do not share login credentials.
- Profile details (pen name, Episode username, photo) may appear on public-facing features such as roadmap comments when you post there.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
Credits and unlocks
- Credits are a virtual balance on the site. They are not money, have no cash value, and are not transferable between accounts.
- Credits do not expire while your account remains active.
- When you unlock an asset, credits are deducted and the unlock is final. Digital files cannot be "returned" once delivered.
- Unlocked assets stay in My assets for re-download while your account exists, even if a Ko-fi membership ends.
- If a file is broken or mislabeled, contact me on Ko-fi or Instagram and I will help case by case. That does not guarantee refunds for change-of-mind purchases.
Membership and Ko-fi billing
Paid memberships are sold on Ko-fi. Ko-fi handles payment, receipts, and subscription management. Their terms and privacy policy apply to billing. CookieCodeJar has no checkout on this site: no card fields, no billing address, and no collection of legal name or other payment identity. All of that stays on Ko-fi.
- Subscribe, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel on Ko-fi. Tier badges and monthly credit deposits on CookieCodeJar update after Ko-fi confirms a charge or change.
- Use the same email on Ko-fi and CookieCodeJar when possible. If you used a different Ko-fi email, link it once under Profile → Membership.
- Cancelling Ko-fi stops future monthly credits but does not delete your CookieCodeJar account or remove assets you already unlocked.
- Ko-fi tier names may vary slightly on receipts. CookieCodeJar maps them to the tiers below.

First refill bonus: through 10 October 2026 (UTC), the first paid monthly credit deposit on a new paid membership may be doubled once per account. Promotional rules can change; the site and FAQ show the current offer.
Asset license
Unlocking grants a limited license to use assets as described in the Asset usage rules. You do not receive ownership of the files, source art, or branding. Redistribution, resale, and public file sharing are not allowed unless I give written permission.
Acceptable use
- Use the vault, roadmap, overlay requests, and comments in good faith.
- Do not spam, harass others, scrape the site, or attempt to bypass tier locks or credit checks.
- Roadmap suggestions are requests, not orders. I decide what gets built.
- I may remove content or restrict accounts that break these rules or the asset usage policy.
Availability and changes
I aim to keep the site running reliably but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Catalog items, credit prices, tier perks, and these terms may change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised terms.
Account deletion
You can delete your CookieCodeJar account from Profile. That removes your profile, credits, and unlock history from the site. Cancel Ko-fi separately if you still have an active membership there. See the Privacy policy for how data is handled.

Assets and the site are provided "as is" to the extent allowed by law. I am not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the site or assets. Nothing here limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection laws in your country.
